As the number-one think tank in the world, the Brookings Institution is renowned for its high quality, innovative, independent thinking. However, in 2007 they felt their website wasn’t living up to that standard. Threespot collaborated with Brookings to bring their online presence in line with their reputation. While the old website was designed around a static hierarchy of topics, Threespot’s redesign marries dynamic taxonomies and personalization components—empowering diverse users to explore a rich library of content on their terms. The website earned an honorable mention from the I.D. Annual Design Review.
