Pew Internet is part of the Pew Research Center, a nonprofit known for producing reports on the trends shaping the U.S. and the world. Though they came to Threespot because they wanted a redesign to match their brand, they also had practical considerations in mind. First, Pew Internet was looking for a solution to make their reports (some of them extremely long) viewable on the website. Second, they needed a content system management (CMS) overhaul so their staff could spend more time on their research, less time on website formatting. Threespot implemented a platform to break down these reports for easier consumption, and to allow inline displays of infographics. We also led the CMS selection process to find the one that best fits their staff’s needs. The website is an AIGA 50 winner and has been referenced by organizations such as the Associated Press.
