Serving as President of Threespot, an independent digital agency, Liz Ott hones her over 20 years of expertise in technology, branding, design, and storytelling into leading bold communications and creative campaigns for clients seeking to make the world a more equitable place.
With a commitment to helping those who are committed to helping others, Threespot has supported Planned Parenthood, The Trevor Project, Pulitzer Center, Children’s Defense Fund, and other forward-thinking organizations under Ott’s leadership.
As a human-centric digital strategist and compelling marketer, Ott’s varied tenures have informed her relational approach to leadership. In addition to empowering progressive clients to inspire the communities they serve, Ott leads Threespot’s daily operations, develops her team, and supports agency founders and stakeholders with inclusivity and purpose.
By curating a workplace that intentionally promotes diversity, family-friendly policies, and relational management, Ott continues to develop innovative solutions for clients, champion frontline work on social justice issues, and build meaningful relationships with people through shared and unshared experiences.
Liz Ott holds a bachelor’s degree in psychology and economics from Northwestern University, a master’s degree in marketing from the Johns Hopkins Carey Business School, and a certificate from the Yale School of Management’s Business Perspectives for Creative Leaders program. She is a former president of AIGA DC, serves on the Endowment Committee for AIGA DC Design Continuum Fund which supports underrepresented future designers, and is a member of the Advisory Council for Diversify by Design (DxD) focused on increasing diversity in the design industry.
