Mat is a senior software engineer with a background in graphic design. He is experienced in a range of technologies that include HTML, CSS, JavaScript, PHP, WordPress, CommonSpot, and web application frameworks. While at Threespot, Mat has contributed to projects for the Howard Hughes Medical Institute, the National Parks Conservation Association, Medicare.gov, the National Park Service, the USO, and the MacArthur Foundation.
Prior to joining Threespot, Mat worked as a graphics specialist at Delta Resource Inc. There he improved the user experience for an online information exchange network.
Mat graduated from the Art Institute of Washington with a bachelor’s degree in web design and interactive media. When not developing, Mat is an avid boarder (snow, surf, skate, wake), plays golf, and loves backroad rides on his motorcycle.
