Sarah graduated from the General Assembly Web Development Immersive class in 2015, where she fell in love with coding while learning HTML, CSS, Javascript, and Ruby. Since then, Sarah has led website redesign and native app development projects at Threespot for clients like National Network of Abortion Funds, the Georgia O’Keeffe Museum, the Barr Foundation, and the USO.
Before diving into the coding world, she was at The Pew Charitable Trusts doing campaign work in their Environment Group on the Clean Energy Program, Public Lands Campaigns, and the Field Department. She authored original research, organized events, wrote contracts, managed a network of clean energy businesses from around the country, and participated in political strategy.
Sarah graduated from Virginia Tech with a bachelor’s degree in political science. She grew up in Alexandria, Virginia, but was born in Austin, Texas. She is now a digital nomad, living in a Sprinter van that she converted into a tiny home on wheels. She enjoys traveling to new places, mountains, snowboarding, and attempting to surf.
